AvonCRM License Setup

This page details how to install the license key for AvonCRM. You must first have obtained an activation email that will contain your license key. If do not yet have an activation email with a license key then you must purchase a license or request a trial license first. If have already purchased a license and have misplaced the key then you can request a resend of your key by using the Request License form.

There are two ways of installing your license. They are as follows;

  1. Download your license over the internet - This option is fast an easy however it requires an internet connection. If you have an internet connection available on your computer then we recommend this option.
  2. Copy and Paste your license - This option is a bit harder and more time consuming however it does not require an internet connection.

Method 1 - Download your license over the internet

To download your license over the internet, just follow these steps

  1. Open the license email you received from us and take note of the Download code and the Email address. The email address is the one you supplied however the download code is a unique identifer to your license. If you have not received an activation email then take a look at the top of this page for more information on how to request a license key be emailed to you.


  2. Select the Load License option from the Help menu. If your trial has already expired then you can skip this step.

  3. When prompted for the license, enter the Download code and the Email address you noted in step 1 above, then click OK button.



  4. AvonCRM will now attempt to download your license over the internet. If it succeeds AvonCRM will then be activated so that you can use it. If it fails then the error message will have the details of why it failed and possible resolutions.



  5. That's it! If the download was successful then AvonCRM will now be operating correctly. If you have trouble using this method then you might like to consider trying to Copy and Paste your license

Method 2 - Copy and Paste your license

To copy and paste your license, just follow these steps

  1. Open the license email you received from us and find the license text (see image below for sample). If you have not received an activation email then take a look at the top of this page for more information on how to request a license key be emailed to you.



  2. Select the 2 lines of license text within the black box and copy it to the clipboard. The way to do this is to place your mouse cursor at the top left corner of the box that contains the license text and then whilst holding your left mouse button down drag the mouse cursor to the bottom left of the box allowing it to scroll. Then release the left mouse button and copy this selected text to the keyboard. To copy the text to the keyboard in your email program you can either;
    1. Right mouse click the text and select Copy from the context menu that appears
    2. Press Ctrl 'C'
    3. Select Edit > Copy menu option

  3. Select the Load License option from the Help menu. If your trial has already expired then you can skip this step.

  4. When prompted for the license text, click the Paste button followed by the OK button.



  5. That's it! If the license text you used was valid AvonCRM will now be operating correctly. If you have trouble using this method to activate AvonCRM then you might like to consider trying to download your license over the internet.
